2.17.19: Our Daily Bread

In Matthew 6-7, Jesus not only encourages us to pray to 'Our Father' in Heaven but to appeal to His character - His holiness, His sovereignty and His goodness. As we cry out for the provision and forgiveness we need each day Jesus reminds us that we can rest in His goodness(Matt. 6:25-34), trust in His provision (Matt. 7:7-11) and work out our salvation (Matt. 6:14-15) in the light of the reality that He is a good Father and His great compassions do not fail us, His children.
