4.28.19 Did Not Our Hearts Burn Within Us?

When the disciples found the empty tomb on that first Easter Sunday they were not filled with joy and celebration, but anxiety and confusion. In fact, Luke 24 describes how they were unable see, understand or believe the reality of the resurrection even though Jesus himself was walking alongside them. How often in our lives do we miss the Lord because we just don't believe he'll show up?
