Pastor Michael continues that Acts Exponential series by looking at the way the disciples lived. Specifically in Acts Ch. 5-7, he notes different signs of the Lord.... Jealousy- a sign that the Spirit is moving, Intimidation- a sign that Jesus is speaking, Division- a sign that the Lord is multiplying, and Hatred- a sign that the witness is working.

Pastor Michael continues leading us through the book of Acts, focusing on the boldness of the disciples in Ch. 4. In the midst of trial after trial, the disciples prayed for boldness. No other Name. Pastor Michael continues preaching from Acts Ch. 3. focusing on the apolostic ministry that we need to glean from today. The apostles didn't focus on what they didn't have, but what they did have. In addition, the preaching of the apostles was filled with humility, it was bold, clear, and it was powerful. Bottom line: We are guilty, God made provision for us, we need to repent, and we need to prepare for His return.

These past weeks deep wounds of racial injustice resurfaced – wounds that date back to the founding of our nation. It is a burden of pain with which the church was familiar, meeting in homes in a climate of crippling Roman oppression. Yet, those early disciples met their societal challenges head on with the gospel – devoting themselves to the Word of God, to fellowship, the breaking of bread and to prayer. (Acts 2:42). Within a few short decades had "turned the world upside down" (Acts 17:6). Acts is the description of the Church on Mission – the playbook for heart-transformation that America desperately needs.

Pastor Michael speaks about the Day of Pentecost as mentioned in Acts 2. The believers were all in one accord, with one spirit, and had one message. There is significant purpose in the unity of believers. We have this hope -- "that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved".
